📌 STEM OPT REPORTING

Looking to complete your STEM OPT reporting? All required STEM OPT Reporting (6, 12, 18, and 24 months) can be completed by submitting a STEM OPT Reporting form on your OISS portal. Step-by-step instructions are available on the form to guide you through the process.

Please note that the processing time is 7–10 business days. 

Make sure to submit your request to OISS at least 10 days before your reporting deadline.

Important: Any employment changes must be reported within 10 days. This includes submitting a final evaluation for your previous employer and a new Form I-983 from your new E-verified employer before a new I-20 can be issued.

Join the Campus Ministry community for a special Summer Chapel at the Beach.

Those interested will meet at the Chapel at 10:45 a.m. before heading to Point Dume State Beach for Chapel on the Beach, a beach clean-up, and a potluck.

It will be an opportunity to have meaningful conversations, moments of mindfulness, music, and spiritual encouragement in an inclusive environment.

Friends and family are welcome, and all are invited regardless of faith background.

This event is part of the Campus Ministry series.

DHS FINAL RULE UPDATE: WHAT F-1 STUDENTS SHOULD DO NOW

While we evaluate the final rule, please continue to maintain compliance with your current F-1 regulations and, if applicable, your OPT or STEM OPT reporting requirements. Continue to:

• Maintain your F-1 status and comply with all applicable immigration regulations.
• Report required changes (such as address, employer, or employment information for students on OPT/STEM OPT) within the required timeframes.
• Submit requests for immigration benefits, including program extensions, CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT, as early as possible, following our current procedures.
• Monitor your university email and our office's communications for updates.
