International Peer Mentors are a group of international students, returning study abroad students, or students who are interested in global exchanges. They help new students during International Orientation, to get acclimated with Cal Lutheran, and follow them all year-round while forming lifelong friendships! Check out the FAQ. Be sure to consider our processing time when planning your trip, and submit you request to OISS accordingly. Before you travel internationally, please: -
Verify that your travel signature (page 2) is valid for your return to the U.S. Each signature is active for 12 months (6 months for OPT students).

Verify that all travel documents on your OISS portal are the most up-to-date.
- Verify that your I-20 is your most recent one (added a new major?).

SEVP is reminding international students to beware of a scam involving individuals using the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) Response Center (SRC) phone numbers (703-603-3400 and 800-892-4829) and claiming to be SRC representatives. See this advisory on Study in the States as well as this list of common scams from USCIS.
Wondering where to report? Report the scam to law enforcement and appropriate authorities.
