Whats New?

The Remote Work Policy has been expanded. An employee in "good-standing" may request to work remotely up to 40% of their full-time equivalent (FTE) and agreements no longer require an end date. Employees who wish to work remotely may submit a Remote Work Request Form to their supervisor. If the request is approved, the employee, supervisor, and Vice President complete and sign a Remote Work Agreement and return the completed agreement to Human Resources.

Kirstie Hauge will join the Human Resources Department on April 4th as the Human Resources Assistant. Kirstie is an alumna from Cal Lutheran with a Bachelors in Communication as well as a Bachelors degree in Sociology and Human Resources Management Program from the University of Stavanger. Please join us in welcoming her!

Benefit eligible employees will soon have access to a new mental health support resource, Ginger. Ginger provides access to in-app coach chats, video therapy, psychiatry sessions  and tailored self-guided resources all from the privacy and convenience of a smartphone. For further information, please make sure to attend the Benefit Fair. See event details below!

Open enrollment begins Monday, April 11 and ends Sunday, May 8th. During open enrollment, eligible employees may make changes to their current insurance elections and/or add and remove dependents. As open enrollment approaches, the Human Resources Department will provide more information about how to review or make changes  to current insurance elections. This enrollment period is for benefit elections effective June 1, 2022.

The interactive Performance Management Plan form and helpful instructional videos are available on the HR website in the Forms & Documents page. We anticipate the Performance Management Plan process will significantly benefit employee relations and  thank you for your participation. The first phase, objective setting, should now be completed and midpoint discussions should be held by April 30th. If you have not begun the performance management plan or have any questions regarding the plan, please feel free to reach out to Walt Johnson, the Employee Relations Manager.
