Join us for a meaningful morning as we celebrate International Day of Peace and stand together for peace and unity.
The flag procession begins at 11:00 AM at the Student Union Lower Level Patio. Please arrive by 10:45 AM to gather and form the procession. We will walk to Samuelson Chapel for a reflection by Rev. Eric C. Shafer and the rededication of the Peace Pole, followed by light refreshments.
Want to take part in the procession?
You can represent a country by carrying its flag, or simply join the procession as we walk together for peace. CGE will provide flags based on the responses received during RSVP.

Join the Campus Ministry at The Table with Jeannie Rabin, Reiki Master, for an evening of exploration, reflection, and connection as we experience spiritual practices that invite us to slow down and become more present.
The evening will also include a guided sound bath meditation, using sound and vibration to create space for rest, reflection, and renewal. No prior experience is required.

Get ready to cook, create, and connect at the first Cooking Up Wellness class of the semester! On Thursday, September 17 from 3:00–5:00 PM in Ullman Commons, an expert chef from Sodexo will guide students through preparing a delicious pasta dish with their choice of sauce, vegetables, and toppings. Gluten-free pasta will also be available. Participants can take home a recipe booklet and receive giveaways! Registration is required, and space is limited to 15 CLU students. Scan the QR code on the poster to reserve your spot!

BUILDING BRIDGES SCHOLARSHIP |

The National Parent Volunteer Association (NPVA) offers merit-based scholarships for students who are committed to volunteering and making a difference in their communities. The scholarships are open to students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees. Students must submit a personal essay of 150 words or fewer about how involved they are in their community and an application. Deadline: September 30, 2026 Awards: $1,000 Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must: -
Be currently enrolled or plan to be enrolled part-time or full-time in an accredited U.S. college or university. Vocational/technical, two-year, four-year, or graduate institutions are eligible.
- Be a high school junior or senior, undergraduate student, or graduate student

Have a grade point average of 2.5 or above on a 4.0 system
- Recipients must provide an official transcript confirming their reported GPA and proof of enrollment. No transcript or proof of enrollment is required until after students are selected as winners.
