If you plan to travel outside the U.S., please submit the 'Intention to Travel' form in your OI.
In addition, submit a request for a Border Re-entry Letter through the Letter Request option. This letter is intended to support you when you return to the U.S. Please note that the processing time is 7–10 business days.
Be sure to travel with all required documents, including: - Valid passport
- Valid F-1 or J-1 visa
- I -20 or DS-2019 with a current travel signature
- Any status-related supporting documents

As part of International Education Week in November, the Center for Global Engagement is launching a Photo Competition.
While you travel or explore new places this summer, keep an eye out for meaningful moments that capture your story.
Submit photos that connect to you, along with a brief note on why the image is special. Selected entries will be showcased this November at the Kwan Fong Gallery, with voting during IEW and prizes awarded at World Fair.
The submission link will be available in August. The photo should be under one of the themes (awarded separately): - Your culture, identity, or global journey

8:00 pm - 9:00 pm Preus-Brandt Forum Together, Intertwined: CLU Dance Concert will offer a dynamic evening of dance presented by the California Lutheran University Theatre and Dance Department, featuring original works choreographed and performed by students. The concert will highlight the creativity, technical skill and artistic voices of emerging choreographers as they explore themes of connection, relationships and shared human experience through movement.
Admission is free, but reservations are recommended. This event is part of the Theatre & Dance Department series. |

THE ATTORNEY BERNEY STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP FUND |

The Attorney Bernie Student Scholarship Fund was created to support students who are committed to making a positive impact in their communities through higher education. Sponsored by Attorney Bernie Kempen and his law firm, this scholarship opportunity is open to students pursuing higher education in any field of study.
Scholarship funds can be used for tuition, room and board, books, and/or other fees at an accredited program within the United States where the student is currently enrolled or plans to enroll.
Deadline: May 15, 2026 Award: $1,000 Eligibility Requirements:
Open to high school juniors and seniors, as well as students currently enrolled in an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program in the United States. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Must submit: - A current resume
- An unofficial transcript
- A 500 –1,000-word essay responding to one of the scholarship prompts
