Scandinavian Festival 2025 |

Date: Saturday - Sunday, April 5 - 6, 2025
Location: Kingsmen Park This festival of Nordic culture features music, dancing, cooking and craft demonstrations, vendors, and activities for people of all ages.
Festivalgoers can visit authentic Viking and Saami settlements; decorate head wreaths with ribbons and flowers; dance around the Maypole; and taste Nordic foods including lefse, aebleskivers, Swedish meatballs and Viking dogs. |

Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 5, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 6. Admission is free for current Cal Lutheran students, faculty and staff with a valid ID. |

Upcoming Changes to Your Health Insurance for the 2025-2026 Academic Year |
Looking ahead to the 2025-2026 academic year, we wanted to provide an important update regarding your mandatory health insurance coverage.
For the current 2024-2025 year, the Wellfleet Insurance with Cigna policy will remain valid until the following dates: -
Undergraduate and Graduate students (15-week program): Until July 31, 2025
- Graduate students attending through the Summer term 2025 (11-week program): Until August 23, 2025

PLTS students: Until August 31, 2025
We are currently in the process of securing the health insurance policy for the 2025-2026 academic year. While we are still finalizing the details, we want to let you know that the insurance carrier will change for the upcoming year. We are carefully selecting a new carrier to help reduce policy costs and provide you with an affordable option that ensures you are well-covered. There’s no need to take any immediate action – we’ll be sure to provide you with all the updated information as soon as it’s available and before your current insurance policy ends.
