International Education Week 2024, from November 18 to 22, celebrates the power of education in fostering global understanding and collaboration. This event highlights cultural exchange and international partnerships, with activities and discussions aimed at promoting awareness of diverse perspectives. Join us in recognizing education's vital role in building a more interconnected and inclusive world.
This year, the Center for Global Engagement is holding its annual World Fair on Friday, November 22 at The Lundring Event Center from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Please join us in celebrating all of the different countries and their cultures showcased by our wonderful students.

This workshop navigates through intricate situations and helps the audience understand how to align federal regulations with campus policies to develop effective advising practices. IIE American Passport Project Scholarship |

The Institute for International Education (IIE) hosts an annual American Passport Scholarship, a prestigious program aimed at supporting underrepresented students in obtaining their first U.S. passport, a crucial step toward broadening their global perspectives and opportunities.
The Office of Education Abroad (OEA) is proud to announce that it has been awarded funds to award this scholarship, allowing CLU to provide financial assistance to 25 eligible CLU U.S. students who are eager to embark on international educational experiences. This scholarship not only helps students overcome financial barriers but also empowers them to explore the world, gain new insights, and enhance their academic and professional futures. The students must apply before November 22, 2024, and you can apply now through this link.

Brint, and Professor Dan Butt, who has been an integral part of the program since 2008 and will be joining us from Oxford for this occasion. Their contributions have shaped the Oxford Program into the enriching experience it is today.

This event will celebrate the ASCENSO (Access, Success, Community, Equity, Network-building, Support and Opportunity) program’s third cohort of undergraduate fellows. After completing an eight-week program with Cal Lutheran’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice (DEIJ) and Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) department, the students will present their projects, experiences and growing knowledge of DEIJ. This presentation will be followed by a reception featuring Cal Lutheran's Mariachi Ensemble.

Whether you have led a program before or are new to the process, please attend this workshop to learn more about these exciting short-term teaching opportunities off-campus. The Director of Education Abroad, Dr. Matthew Yates, will provide details on how faculty-led programs operate and lead a panel discussion with experienced faculty leaders.
