Transatlantic Connections: Academic, Cultural, and Business Exchange between the US and Austria

The Office of Education Abroad and the School of Management invite the university community to a panel discussion followed by a small reception to introduce and highlight the possibilities of a study program in Austria to our students at CLU. Distinguished guests are invited to talk about academic, cultural and business exchange between the two countries. This event will be followed by a Q&A and a networking reception with servings of some casual small bites. If this is of interest to you, please join us on Tuesday, September 24 in Ullman 100/101.

OEA Education Abroad Fair - Fall 2024

Discover many opportunities to change your world. Students are invited to stop by the Spine and meet the Office of Education Abroad staff and our international providers to learn about programs abroad and domestic.

  • Students may use their full financial aid package on semester programs.
  • Learn about study, intern, research, and service options that connect with students' majors and minors.
  • Representatives of OEA's partner institutions will  be present to answer any questions.
 

CGE Office is Closed on September 2

Please be advised that the Center for Global Engagement and most Cal Lutheran offices will be closed on Monday, September 2 due to the observance of Labor Day. Our office will reopen the following day on September 3, at 8 am. We encourage you to plan accordingly.

 

Add/Drop Deadlines - Maintain your full-time enrollment

Undergraduate students add/drop deadline: September 8

- Faculty Signature Required from September 3

Graduate students add/drop deadline: September 2

Reduced course load online portal submission required for OISS: Tuesday, September 3

 

As a reminder, as an F1 student, you must maintain full-time enrollment throughout each term (unless prior authorization granted) and cannot exceed the equivalent of one online class or 3 credits per session may count towards the full-time enrollment requirement:

  • Undergraduate students - 12 units
  • Master's degree students - 6 units
  • Graduate certificate students - 6 units 
  • Doctoral students - 6 units

If you are submitting a Reduced Courseload (RCL) request, please make sure to have submitted it before the add/drop deadline and have received your RCL I-20 before engaging in less units.

 

If you need help from an Academic Advisor regarding your Fall schedule. The Center for Student Success has walk-in appointments available during these hours:

  • M/T/W/F: 9am-12pm & 1:30pm-4pm

  • Thurs: 9am-11:15am & 1:30pm-4pm
